Indian Journalist Association, Barpeta, Assam District unit, unanimously formed

 The Annual General Meeting of the Indian Journalist Association, Barpeta, Assam District Unit was held at Bikalong Association Office in Barpeta District.  According to the annual general meeting, saplings are planted in the office premises.  Young businessman of Barpeta and Finance Secretary of Garia Maria Jatiya Parishad Liton Choudhary planted saplings.  Choudhary to Bikalong Association secretary Anant Deka and a prison secretary Raju Ali.  The General Assembly of the Indian Journalist Association Barpeta district was presided over by Sheikh Rahmat Ullah and conducted by Manjit Das.  District General Secretary Manjit Das read the report of last year's activities.  A new committee of Barpeta District Indian Journalist Association was formed in the meeting. 

Senior sports journalist Dwijendra Nath Das of Barpeta and senior journalist Pulen Das - (District Patron), Sheikh Rahmat Ullah - (District President), Azizul Haque - District working President), Geetanjali Sharma and Ibrahim Khalil - (District Vice President), Manjit Das -  (District General Secretary), Shafiq Uddin Ahmad and Kaushik Das - (District Secretary), Syed Aftab Hussain - (District Organization Secretary), Mausam Nazim - (District Secretary), Mofidul Haque - (District Media Incharge), Farooq Ahmad and Shahidul Islam (  District Treasurer) was elected unanimously.  Indian Journalist Association in Assam constituted a full committee by naming Pradeep Kumar Sarkar as state member.
