A meeting of the Indian Journalist Association was called. National President of the organization Seraj Ahmad Quraishi was accorded a warm welcome by garlanding the chief guest of the meeting. After that the journalists present were honored with letters of honor. The meeting was presided over by District President Ubaid Ansari and conducted by District General Secretary Danish Ansari in the presence of State Secretary (Awadh Pradesh) Rahul Tripathi. Where mainly the real problems of journalists were discussed in detail and a 6-point demand letter to the Government of India for the formation of the Journalists Commission, monthly allowance / pension to journalists, early implementation of the Journalist Protection Act, etc. Sent by post to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister and the Minister of Information and Broadcasting. After which National President Seraj Ahmad Quraishi said in his address that in the present time many challenges have arisen in the field of journalism, somewhere the journalist who writes the truth is harassed and somewhere fake cases are filed. Indian Journalist Association will continue to fight for the rights of journalists. Injustice being done to journalists will not be tolerated. Indian Journalist Association will not tolerate harassment of journalists.
State Secretary (Awadh Pradesh) Rahul Tripathi, District President Barabanki Ubaid Ansari and Patron Atikurrehman Usmani also addressed the meeting.
